r23.overture error

    r23.overture error

    When I try to connect to websites I frequently get the following error:

    r23.overture.com/d/r/?xargs.. and a whole string of gibberish

    This means that I cannot access many sites

    How do I stop this happening?

    I suspect that r23.overture.com/d/r/?xargs and the string of gibberish is linked to a web page address.
    and you getting the error because the the address is incorrect.
    Do you get this when you first open your browser.
    If so open your browse and go to tools and select options or Internet Options if your browser is IE
    Now check to see if your Home Page address is correct.
    If this is incorrect you are most likely suffering from a spyware problem.
    If you are being redirected to that address when browsing then again it could be spyware.
    If you suspect it could be spyware could you

    It is not a single website that gives me the problem, but many and on many occasions. I'll try the spyware help you suggest. though Kaspersky says my PC is clean
