I ran a scan check and the results came back with no problems, is there another check I can run, hardware or software check? I guess now it's a waiting game seeing how long it'll run again untill I get that blue screen back. Any other ideas?
    Hi Mark

When you say you ran a scan check do you mean Chkdsk /f

If not an how to on this can be found here How to perform disk error checking in Windows XP

I think this Black screen boot failure warning should be taken very seriously.
If the PC is running normally you have window of opportunity which should be taken

If you haven't already done so I think you should now be making backups of all your important files.
So I would advise you NOT to run the PC for normal usage until you have done this

Instructions for Backing Up your Dell PC can be found here : -
    Dell - Support

I would personally also take steps to Clone and change the failing drive if at all possible.

    Hi Mark

Along with the Partmgr.sys. and Page_Fault_in_nonpage_area you get a list of numbers such as : -

    example Stop: 0x0000000A (00000063, 0000001c, 00000000, parameter4)

Could you give us those numbers please.

I brought the computer to the shop and my hard drive was on it's way out, they backed up everything from my old hard drive to the new one, the guy said I was lucky and caught in just in time. I also uninstalled McAfee and installed Avast, my computer is running great now. I'm running my Windows Firewall, is that good enough or is there a better one I can download? Thanks for all the help, you guy's were great! Thanks again.............

    Hi Mark

Glad to see you've got your PC sorted

I think you should consider changing your Windows Firewall which is very basic.
    There's a list of freeware firewalls here : -
    http://www.techsupportalert.com/best-free-firewall.htm
With a explanation of their pros and cons. Some (such as Comodo) are full security suites.
If you decide to have one of these you will need to unistall avast
I personally use the Outpost Firewall and Avast which I find not to be OK for my needs

Just when I thought things were going good, now I get another problem. After the new hard drive was installed my webcam still had a delay. I uninstalled my Logitech 9000 webcam, put in the Logitech install CD and I get a error message.
Error occurred during the move data process -115
File can not be open as write
    szMedia data
    Component: Application/RealSDK
    File group: External RealSDK
    File C: windows/system 32/pnc 3250.dll
My webcam won't install because of this error, any ideas what I should do?

    Hi Mark

You could try downloading the web cam drivers
    from here Webcam Pro 9000
and see if it will install with those drivers.
