I have recently upgraded to W7 home premium.

Since then I have been having a rather strange experience with downloading files, for example, when using Usenext, I can regularly download files at 20,000 kbits but after about 5 minutes the speeddrops down to about 800 kbits.

This also happens when downloading direct from a website. The speed will suddenly slow down after 5 mins or so.

When i reboot the exact same thing happens.

Any ideas?

I am using a Belkin USB wireless adaptor to connect to my Virgin XL broadband. I never had the problem before with XP pro.
