    Firefox Issue

Recently my firefox started acting up. I'm using Firefox 3.5.5 (most recent update) and whenever I go to certain web pages, the page will load and then the browser window will go blank. I tried removing and re-downloading, however I'm still having the same issue.

Any help would be appreciated. I attached a screen shot to explain what I'm talking about

Under the tools tab. (at least in Linux). There is a error Console that might enlighten you on what is going wrong maybe. I don't run Windows so I might not be of much help with this.

One thing I do to keep control of My Firefox installs is to install the Flash Block add on. It places a F on any flash content on a web page and if you wish to view the flash content. You just click on the F. WOT is a good add on to. No Scripts and Add Block also. Good luck with it. Since you run Windows, It may be a Malware issue maybe also.

There is a thread over on the firefox forum that might help
Web pages start to load and then just go blank with 'Done' on the bottom bar

    Open Tools > Add-ons > Plugins
Then click on Realplayer Browser Record plugin - choose Disable
Restart Firefox, visit the same sites, see if the problem went away.
Browser record plugin has been known to cause weird glitches.

That is a bit strange but I think you might have a virus. Try reinstalling firefaox using your microsoft explorer. When installing it do not set to import settings from anywhere. just do a fresh install and see if that helps. If it does not work, I will suggest you look into scanning your PC with a stron anti-virus. Good luck
