I used always Internet Explorer on my WinXP, and lately upgraded to version 8. Till now everything went OK, but today I tried to open an HTM file and I expected the usual web page.
Instead I received the source in txt format.
When checking better I found that my IE8 files are now listed as Chrome!
I never tried to change the browser to Chrome!
Please advise what to do and how to return to the usual IE format
