So I was using the internet one day and i decided to go on youtube to watch some videos. Youtube's fancy layout was a lined-up formation. It asked me to download/reinstall flash player. I didn't bother and went on google.videos. The youtube videos on google works perfectly... Then i got irritated and reinstalled flash player. It is still doing the same thing. Youtube is very plain and it is the same for some websites. But for most is working perfectly. I checked my javascript and such and it is all enabled. I don't know what the problem is...
You did not give your OS or which browser you are using. I am running Windows XPSP/3 with either IE 8.0 or the latest FF .......the following is relevant for me on my systems. (Please see the attachment included showing what is installed in Add and Remove.)
I did have a similar instance to you re playing youtube videos. I did the following which corrected my problem.
Verify your Java installation here to make sure you have the latest installed which is (Version 6 Update 17).
To keep your JavaRuntime up to date go to this link and download the latest JavaRa being version 1.15
On all of the Adobe installations showing in Add and Remove you can highlight them and click on "Click here for Support information" which takes you to the latest sites.
Post back if you need more assistance or update if this worked for you.
