help! every time I search for something on google or yahoo the links provided just direct me to weird sites (advertising or similar) and not the actual site.
Has something malicious installed itself? I've run the mcafee scan but nothing's come up...

try cleaning your registry. i did it to a computer at work. don't know if it fixed it but it should being as i tryed all the virus and spyware scans i knew about.
