Hello..

I'm a newbie in this forum. Any one who can help/give me the step by step congifuration for setting up a wireless internet connection. I am currently using a broadband connection.

this is my setup:
ISP-->modem-->a cisco router-->switch/hub-->LAN PC

What is better, a wireless router or a wireless access point.
Any best recommended equipment to be used?

My personal recommendation and preference is a wireless router. The 3 best companies in my opinion are Dlink, Linksys and Belkin. I am running a Dlink WBR 2310(108Mbps wireless) and it is super fast and works wonders. The routers are very easy to set up and the makers usually give you step by step instructions to do this as well.
