I bought a wireless router for my laptop but it just wont find/connect to my laptop. My cousin told me i have to find my .. Mac Address? I have no clue what to do with it nor do i know where to look for it.

i also have a question about the internet. Does the speed of the computer affect the speed of the internet connection? Because im planning on getting an internet of 10Mbps speed but my computer is REALLY REALLY SLOW. Would it still work on my computer?
