    Question strange problem. cant get into certain pages

    Hi and thanks in advance
    I've just had this problem recently. possible cause could be msn messenger. It started happening after i updated it. tried system restore but didnt help

    i cant seem to go into google. msn, hotmail, any microsoft related pages? and cant sign into msn messenger. other then that everthings fine i guess.
    I'm using windows xp sp2. got avg and counterspy installed

    Two basic things to try:

    first: click Start, then Run, and enter the following:

    regsvr32 softpub.dll

    then click OK



    If that doesn't help you might want to do a

    ipconfig /flushdns

    under Start > run and see if this fixes the problem.
