i am trying to find a little bit of help and it seems nobody can tell me exactly what the problem is ...so if anybody can help i would apperciate it . ok , i use google talk on my pc . it works fine excpet when i am talking to 1 person . they can hear me clearly but i can only hear bits and pieces of what they are saying . they have purchased a new mic and can send me voice mails on google talk . i am thinking it is one of 3 things ......1 they need a new sound card , something with their settings is off , or maybe the connection speed . they say that sometimes they can only hear me if they turn their mic off . so my question is could it be the sound card , connection or the pc settings? and if it is one of these three things what can they do to fix the problem .

First off 99% of PC's have on-board audio. Unless one is seriously interested in music Sound Cards are probably not involved.

The On-line connection is quite possibly an issue as well as RAM and other hardware factors.

Is the problem with just this one person? What are their computer specs? What is their ISP connection?

etc.
