    Annoying problem....

I'm not sure if this is even a problem, just kind of annoying. And I'm not sure how to explain it so here's a link to The Sims 2 site for an examplehttp://thesims2.ea.com/index.php. When I want to click on something at the very top of the page, (where it says PC Games, More Games, Exchange etc.) at first when my cursor is over it, there is a "box" around it. So I have to click once and then it will do what it's suppose to do, which I guess I would call expand or move. And then I can click on what I want.

Also I saw this a long time ago on Tech TV while just flipping channels, but I had a different computer then and I forgot how to do this. How do I change my settings so that browser windows automatically open up maximized?

I hope someone will understand what I'm talking about and I hope they can help! Thanks!

Why was this moved here? It doesn't have anything to do with gaming. The Sims 2 site is just an example. Is there a better place for this other than just the Windows XP board?

Sounds like an Internet issue to me.

Maximize your browser and then close it. Once you start it back up, it should be maximized.

You could also try holding Shift while 'stretching' the window to the size you want. It should then remember the size and position the next time you open a window

The window does stay the size I want it, but it's not "maximized". It fits the whole window. I guess it doesn't matter. I just thought there was a way that it would stay maximized.

And a little bit more information about the other thing, it says to "press SPACEBAR or ENTER to activate and use this control". Can anyone help with this?

What browser are you using Andrea?

Have you tried any other browser like Firefox, Opera, Internet Explorer, Maxthon etc etc?

I know exactly what your talking about. This is a security feature. I'm not sure how to remove this feature but I recommend leaving it on for safety.
