    Internet Pages Flick When Scrolling

Ok have windows xp pro and when using internet explorer 6 the web page flicks as you scroll the page down. Happens whether you pull down the scroll bar on the side or arrow down. Have wireless broadband connection. Anyone have an idea on what the problem could be? Computer has 1.6 ghz processor 256mb ram.

thanks, just a quick question; how do you do that?

    Hiya polarisman

If you are lucky, you can right click on the 'my computer' icon, select properties, select hardware and select device manager. Look down the list for your graphics card (possibly with a yellow ! beside it). Click on it and follow the instructions to uninstall the driver. Reboot your computer and Windows will install you a new driver.

If this doesn't work you will need to go to your graphics card manufacturers website and download the latest set of drivers from there.

It is also worth making sure you have all the latest Microsoft updates installed as some of those have drivers in them as well

Polarisman, go into the hardware device manager, select the device, it will have a yellow exclamation mark now, click install driver, and use your XP disk.....it "should" detect the driver and install it.

Do you know what graphics drivers you require? It is possible they are not system ones...

Whats the make and model of your computer, if you don't know get Belarc Advisor ( free ) run, then copy and paste the results, we should be able to find the graphics driver for you. http://www.belarc.com/free_download.html
