I have this problem with this website. Everytime i try to access gsm.upm.edu.my on my home pc, the browser window will immediately close and a file named hs_err_pid2972.log will appear on the desktop.

When i access the website using my laptop, all seems well.

I have used both internet explorer and mozilla firefox yet the problem persists.

Could anyone pls help? my situation is very dire

What does the log say?

the log reads,

"an unexpected error has been detected by Hotspot Virtual Machine:

EXCEPTION_ACCESS_VIOLATION (Oxc0000005) at pc=0x6d6c315a, pid=2792, tid=2796

and some other too long thingies beyond my comprehension.

I did what was suggested on the java forum but it didn't work, however, installing the latest version of Java Runtime Environment (1.5.0_06) solved the problem well.
