I hooked up a new primary HDD and I am moving things over from my prior primary (which is currently slaved). I plan on removing this slave HDD but I need to get my bookmarks for both Internet Explorer and Mozilla Firefox and import them into the clean new installs.
Can someone give me some advice?

I don't use IE so i can't help you there but Firefox is another matter. Click on Bookmarks, then 'Manage Bookmarks', then 'File' and finally 'Export'. Now send your bookmarks to your desktop. From there you can 'Drag and Drop' your bookmarks folder anywhere you like.
Just go back to Firefox bookmarks and this time select 'Import' to get your bookmarks back.

I backup my bookmarks every week to my Gmail account using Gmail Drive.
