irc client that runs off a cd?
anyone know of an irc client that runs off a cd? I sometimes borrow a computer when I travel, and don't want to install software. I don't need a lot of features.
I did a search and came up with miranda (an irc client), but had trouble typing in a servername for some reason.
if something runs "without installing", it may run from a cd or even a floppy if it is small enough

Honestly, not entirely sure. There is ChatZilla that will run straight from Fx.

tinyIRC looks like it will do the job fine. http://tinyirc.net
I downloaded the 60 kB zipped free version, tried it on the hard drive, then burned the files to a cd, and ran it from there.
