Mozilla Firefox

Mozilla Firefox is a very popular browser, and still getting more populaer. The URL to download is:
    http://spreadfirefox.com/?q=affiliat...15903&t=79
I have referred 70 people, so far. And hopefully you can switch today.
Here is a "little article" I wrote a long back ago, from another forum:

I have always been using Firefox since I have heard about it. I personally support Firefox with every muscle in my body. I mean there are of course flaws.
I hate it because you always got to install certain plugins.
I hate it because certain websites use IE encoding and not the "traditionally" HTML That Firefox uses and every other browser alive except for IE.

Now for the fun part the great stuff. I love surfing the internet not worried about big gaping holes that when I click a link that some code isn't going to be written to my computer without my knowing and therefore making my life a living hell trying to remove the virus and the code. Internet Explorer is always having this problem. Here is an extract from the latest hugest virus...W32/MyDoom.AK@MM

"NOTE: The email includes a URL that exploits the Microsoft Internet Explorer Malformed IFRAME Remote Buffer Overflow Vulnerability."

The whole thing of the virus is an exploit. So far Firefox doesn't have any major ones that goes undercovered or unrepaired.

Popups. Now ST&T site is filled with them for The Tool to pay his bills now that is okay because I never see them. Why? Because I am on Firefox.

Block Images. Now most website's ads come from one website and just rotate on and on. Like this website. So I just block the image from that site and never have to see that ad again or any "offensive" material that I don't like or want anyone else seeing.

Extenstions. The ability to add anything you desire for Firefox. Now this is one of my all time favorite things. I personally love SwitchProxy and a spellchecker which I forget the name of. But those are my favorite two extenstions for Firefox, but there are literally millions out there.

Themes. Don't like the look? Get a new theme, now me personally this isn't very big to me but I can imagine it is to severeal people.

The downloads. I personally love it, I don't understand why people hate it. The only thing I personally don't like about it is that you cannot open .exe files you must save them first. There are serveal file extenstions like that, but you get over it. I like you can automatically save it in the same spot over and over without having to reselect it.

now that is cheap...you copied your post from the old forum....just kidding. it was a good post though.
I agree people should use something besides internet explorer, though i like opera...maybe because i am a phantom....phantom, ..opera.....seems like a connection.

Must agree with Phantom here, [can't believe you were PTO amd Phantom :? ].......I find "Opera" much lighter on resources than Firefox. I have both, but prefer Opera.

<note to self> must rewrite lyrics to Phantom of opera.... :P

Wasn't Firefox purported to have a memory leak? I believe I tweaked mine somewhere, and it did work better, but still not up to opera, and opera I am prepared to keep paying for.

I think Firefox very good, but only my opinion, it isn't "quite there".
