Free stuff on the net
-
There are a few things still free and worth having on the net, mostly computer software programs,....ask for what you need someone will provide a link(s).
As for the "Click here to get a free ipod" and other garbage like that try not to click those as tempting as they may look, you are just giving your information to spammers and scammers. Then you will be wondering why you have all that junk mail, odd charges to your phone and strange things showing up in your real mail box at home or the post office. Not much is really free it usually has a price of some sort. Things like screensavers, theme packs and file sharing programs come bundled with spyware that if you remove it the program you wanted may or may not still work. AOL has been saying it has FREE anti virus software for it's customers, you may not pay extra, but anyone paying $23.90 + tax a month for dial up is not getting anything free. Like i said above if you need something ask...if i posted a few links, there may be something better by the time you read this so.....will wait for the need to come up.
