I'm glad it worked out. Lets cross our finger an hope it stays.

Just a note I don't know if this is true but I read that SP 3 "froze" your computer at the installed version of IE so that you couldn't revert that an earlier version than what was on your computer when SP 3 was installed without uninstalling Sp 3. I don't even remember where I read that though.
