I've discovered online storage called SkyDrive and I thought that would share that with the DAL community. After using it I've discovered some pros and of course some cons and I'll list them here.
Pros:
1. 25 GB
2. FREE
3. File sharing
4. With multiple tabs/windows open you can upload multiple files concurrently.
5. Microsoft
Cons:
1. 50 MB file size limit which can be worked around with WinRar. WinRar can compress and break up the files.
2. Slow upload speed even with cable. I wouldn't try with anything other than cable or fiber optics and it is definitely not for dial up.
3. The server has kicked me quite a few times telling me that "it lost internet connection". It didn't automatically restart upload of files that didn't upload.
4. Browsing is a bit slow and awkward and multiple files can't be selected.
5. No desktop application for automatic backups, file/folder syncing, or integration into windows explorer.
6. When selecting files to upload you can only browse to and select one file at a time with a max of 5 files UNLESS you install a program that allows you to drag and drop multiple files but only for IE.No upload of folders.
7. Microsoft [pro or con take your pick].
I ended up listing more cons than pros so it's up to you. I haven't tried to download files yet but I do know that you can download 1 file at a time or all the files/sub-folders(???) in a folder as a zip file. I just thought that I'd share this. If I come up with any more pros/cons I'll post them here.![]()

No upload of folders.
