I tried it out 3 years ago when it was basically the Mozilla Application Suite, renamed to SeaMonkey 1.x. I have always been a fan of Netscape and there is a nice appeal to having all Internet functions bundled under a single UI. My developer collegues (and as a hardware guy in software company, I was surrounded by them!) liked it because of the included html editor. But there were a lot of rough edges and "undocumented features" (AKA "bugs") that detracted from the appeal. I hope 2.x is much better.

But I still wonder if it will sway the general user from their current browser of choice, and email client too?
