Am using the above system but it does.t show on my AD/Remove list and I want to uninstall & reinstall as I have lost my Internet Options on the toolbar.
Hope someone out there has the answer??

What is it you want to uninstall? SP2? Or IE7? When did the problem start? What toolbar? What options?

Have you scanned for malware?

IE7 should be listed in the Control Panel - Add/Remove programs.

You can re-install IE7 "over the top" without removing it. (This is what I think you should do given the above.)

Otherwise, right click on the toolbar area (in an empty area) and choose Customise Command Bar, then Add or Remove Commands...

From there you should be able to add what you want.

You can also right click on the toolbar area (in an empty area) and click on Menu Bar to add it. Then just click on Tools, Internet Options.

Internet Options should also be listed in the Control Panel.

I upgraded to IE8beta did'nt like it and tried to remove it, that's when the trouble started.Managed eventually to get off my Ad/Remove list but it took IE 7 with it. Downloaded IE 7 again, can't get my Internet Options, and IE 7 still does'nt show on my Ad/Remove. How can I uninstall IE 7 cleanly and do a reinstall.. HELP!

How long ago did this start? If recently, perhaps you can try a system restore. Otherwise, I agree with Dan - download IE7 again, and reinstall it over the top of your existing installation.

Do note you would need to tell your firewall the change to IE is legitimate, and to grant Internet access.
