This is a new problem. Just noticed it this afternoon; worked fine this morning. My son was playing on a webpage. After that, it wouldn't work.

No new hw/sw.

IE7

Can't log in to facebook, netflix and probably some others.

Blogs would be ".blogspot".

It is the same with Firefox...doesn't work.

The other computer works just fine.

Check your Event Viewer via Administrative Tools.

Open the System as well as Application tabs and look for red X errors that coincide with your problem. Details here:

I see a few red x errors from today. "Application Hang" "1001" and "1002".

What firewall are you running?

Just the normal windows firewall.

Try turning it off and see if it makes a difference.

Then turn it back on.

Nothing.

Do you have any third party tool bars?

Nope.
