If I understand you correctly, You haven't made different files to hold your bookmarks in. When going to bookmark a page/link in Firefox you can use the choose button, then click on New folder, then name that folder like for example, forums or blogs. Then you can take all your forum links and cut and paste into that folder, to shorten the bookmark list. For example, I have a folder for Music, Computer, Blogs, Forums, Linux, etc.... to hold my links in a general order. Then when I wish to go like to lets say Dal, I go to my forums folder, pick out Dal from that folder and arrive here to type out this post.
