Good Evening All!

Heres my dillemma:

Recently, downloaded and ran SpyBot. The following day I ran Disk Defragmenter. Later that evening I attempted to access Internet Explorer and it turned on and turned right back off. Repeatedly. I then attempted using Firefox to access the internet. It told me that Google (my home page) was a valid address but it could not connect. Confused, I checked my network connections and my LAN said it was Connected. I turned off my Modem and turned it back on. All the lights come on save for the Send/Recieve. I then tried to reset my IP Address for kicks. I released, renewed using the ipconfig command and still could not connect. Heres the helpful part: I then pinged Yahoo! and got 100% success. However my browsers are still not connecting. I am thinking Spybot chocked out my browsers access to the internet in an attempt to completely guard me from any maliciuos activity. ( Would be very helpful when I leave the computer in the hands of my mother-in-law) So, I'm guessing theres something I can turn back on, a setting that I can adjust to put everything back in motion.
