    web page can be displaied, problem with TCP IP Stack?

    Just a note on the title, it should have said can not be displayed.

    Hi

    I have a problem with my PC, I have windows XP, When i try to go to a web site the page wont come up, however when i type in the ip adress for google it connects, someone told me it could be the TCP IP Stack which i reset however the problem still happens, im not sure if I rest it correctley or if it is something else, if anyone has any ideas on this please let me know.

    Does this happen with every site that you go to? What browser are you using? What service pack on XP do you have? Is this at home? If so do any other computers have the same problem? What had you done to your computer about the time this started happening? On a side note, sometimes you have to include www in the address. Have you done this?
