Hi Mohando,
I removed your log because there's a couple things to check first, and because that version of HJT is outdated and logs don't belong here! (See HijackThis Procedures).
If you were getting thrown off and you had to reboot or something drastic, then I would suspect this was malware activity. But you said "...I get a fast disconnect and then it reconnects..." - that does not sound like malware activity.
Ummm, no, not really. Computers do not connect to the Internet directly and it's what's in the middle that we need to know more about.Im connected to the internet using a lan cable
Computers connect to the Internet through a gateway device. For home and small offices using a high speed/broadband connection, this is usually a DSL or Cable modem.
Hopefully, you have a router between the modem and you. The router puts a barrier between you and the Internet - essential for security, even if only 1 computer is connected.
So what do you connect your Ethernet cable into? Are there other computers connected in the same way? Any problems with them?
When you lose connectivity, what do the lights on the modem (and router, if present) show - as compared to normal?
For security purposes, I don't like wireless networks so I am glad to see you are using Ethernet. First thing I would do is replace the Ethernet cable. They are cheap, low tech, and cannot survive being tripped over or pulled on too often.
What is the make and model of your computer, or if custom built, motherboard? What version of Windows?
Have you scanned for malware?
I ran a SpyBot S&D scan and that seemed to fix the problem. Ill reply back if it happens again.
Thnx.
