Hi there,

I know this seems like quite a trivial problem when compared to some but i need help with it. When i play online games im cosistently getting high ping, ranging from 50-1500 sometimes!!! Im starting to get really frustrated with the lag on the game im playing. I have heard that this could be due to a virus but i have protection. Please help.

OS: XP
antivirus/spyware etc: AVG, adaware, windows firewall
Internet: IE7
ISP: Virgin
Router: Netgear WGT624v3
