    passwords

i was on vacation for a week at work. i came back to find that my new boss had to use my pc while i was gone. since returning, internet explorer will not remember my logins/passwords to websites (and i checked these settings and they are the same as before). also, it will not regognize them after i try to type them in. in the past i've been able to bypass this problem by deleting temp files, history and cookies, but this is no longer working. has my boss put some sort of block on me that i dont know of or did the idiot catch a virus or some sort of spam?

I don't mean to sound ignorant here but,,,, if he/she is your boss, why don't you query the issue with him/her? Maybe he/she, or company policy, doesn't condone the sites you're visiting.

Our site policies don't allow us to help circumvent things like this.

Post back with a reasonable explanation and we'll see what we can decide.

i'm sorry for coming accross so agitated, but i believe i have a real issue. Perhaps i just don't know what setting is effecting this issue. here is what is happenning: in hotmail, for example, i can put in my login and password and get into the site just fine. However, after checking the "remember me" box while signing in, the next time i go in, it does not remember me.

the other example i have is when i sign into sportsline. it does not accept my user name or password and just redirects me to the same sign in screen. i was able to delete cookies, temporary internet files and history 2 days ago and actually be able to sign in. now it does not work. is this a problem with my pc or internet?
