    All of a sudden my emails with one person in particular are very wide. It is as if the software was in landscape mode, and I don't know how to get them back in portrait format. Ideas?

    Most likely the format.

    Probably not using "word wrap".

    You can also set your read options to "plain text" rather than "HTML".

    There are also option to either read in the same format as sent or to choose your own format.

    Depending on your e-mail software all these options should be available.
