With an incoming mail (POP3) pop.tiscali.co.uk and an outgoing mail (SMTP)smtp.uwclub.net there is a problem with the connection. The error message always reads "smpt.uwclub.net could not be found".
Antbody got any ideas.

A quick view of their HELP page indicates that your outging server should be smtp.tiscali.co.uk

Thanks! Tried that without joy. The line remtal is BT, the E-mail is a Tiscali and the Broadband pack is United Warehouse. The settings posted are the default when UW was installed.

Not sure if that's a typing error from you or the actual message you are getting, but you have written SMPT when it should be SMTP. Take a look at your settings a check they aren't the wrong way round. A long of ISPs now are only allowing you to use their outgoing servers, so that is perhaps why you can't connect directly to Tiscali.

I'm with BT and I have to sign into my BT webmail and then add the email address of the none BT accounts I want to send email from. I then connect using BTs SMTP servers.
