IE7 LInk problems

    IE7 LInk problems

    I am using Internet Explorer 7 and using broadband. When going to some sites and attempting to follow a link within the site I get a blank screen (still in internet explorer) with no error messages and in the lower left the message DONE as I would expect to get when the page has been loaded.This is a recent problem, I have checked all the settings but can find nothing wrong.
    can anyone help

    Does this happen on a lot of sites or is it just a few specific sites? If it is a few specific sites, could you tell me which ones and I'll take a look.

    No the problem occurs on a lot of different site links.
    I also get the message error on page quite often.

    Do you have all the latest Windows Updates installed? Sometimes there can be bugs in the program with a patch waiting to be installed that you haven't installed or has failed to install. Go to Windows Update and do a custom search and install the updates presented to you.
