    Question downloading directly to webspace???

Hi... there was a feature on AOL's XDrive online storage system which I really loved but is no longer there. In XDrive, I was able to save a file from online (example: the msn messenger .exe file / a movie file) directly onto the online storage and save it there.

For people (like me) in a third-world country, where the internet usually isn't very fast, this was a very cool option. Especially when new episodes of Lost, Heroes, etc were available on certain sites (Stage6) but often removed before I could download them with my slow internet!

With XDrive, I was able to store them in a personal location from where I could download at my (and my internet's) own pace. Also, when trying to download from Stage6 it was very slow because a lot of people were trying to access it simultaneously.

I want to know if there is any other free storage providers which have this option? Or, is there another way I could upload it directly to online storage without having to download it to my PC first?

I recently discovered the site www.thelinkup.com which offers 25GB of free storage space. I'd like to know if I can directly save from the internet into that?

    any help would be appreciated!

Save 20% on AVG Internet Security 2012 Suite!
To be honest, I think the only way your going to get this functionality is if the site directly supports it and it is listed in the features list. With growing interent connection speeds around the world, it is usually not something that is necessary but I understand your situation.
