Hi everyone

I have been a 'dedicated follower of IE' for many years and have just downloaded Firefox.

Just wondered what it has that IE doesnt.?

What are people recommendeds?

When i first opened it, it asked me what i wanted the home page to be set as - i chose to transfer from IE- what is the default setting then for Firefox?

since IE 7 I've not used Fire fox, I preferred it to earlier incarnation of IE as it had tabbed browsing.

Home page I always set it to google.co.uk

you can get extra skins for Fire fox and little add ons

Tabbed Browsing (unless IE7) and better security mostly. I've tried it twice, IE7 twice, and Opera once, and have always gone back to IE6. Just me. I've never been hijacked or had any problems. (Although my browsing is pretty tame. I just go to several help forums and manufacturers sites for drivers etc.)

People who like tabbed browsers will recommend Firefox et al. It's all personal choice really.

Can't remember what the default homepage is for Firefox. Probably the Mozilla site. ;>)
