the items that you have previously searched,



for how long should these items come up?
if i searched for something 6 months ago, should these still be in this drop down box?

no i do want the memory. in fact i want it to be longer!

Google has perhaps a longer history using the Google Toolbar as seen here:

Personally I would not use it.

If you find you are losing history you can always save every page to a favorites folder or copy to a notepad etc.
