If you have the Product Key they gave you you should be able to re download it.
As it is it looks like it is missing that file so reinstall anyway might be necessary.
If you have any doubts you should contact them. As you are a paying customer I'd expect you'd get support.
As to troubleshooting this issue you can try to stop all it's startup functions and reboot.

Well, I removed the Trend Micro from my computer and tried to connect to a chat room and it still won't connect.
Re-installed the virus protection.
Anything else I can try?

I guess the red x errors I thought were coinciding with my attempts to log in to chat were not. They must have been something else.
I am at a loss.

Have you tried on another computer?
I tried the YUKU site but found no chat. Perhaps one has to be a member?
Can you link to one of these chats so I can try to get in?

I have no access to another computer.
The chat rooms are on forum boards. I guess you would have to be a member of the board before you could enter.
I see other people in the rooms (it shows a list of usernames of the people chatting). I have talked to other members who say they have no problems.
What gets me is, I have tried differnet chat rooms that are all independent of each other. And I get the same "can't connect to server" on them all. That has to mean there is something on my computer blocking me from connecting to the servers for the chat rooms.

I have nothing further at the moment but will keep it in mind.
Also another member might have some ideas.

I contacted my ISP and asked them if there was some reason why I couldn't connect to chat rooms. They informed me that the external modem that they sent me when I went from dial-up to DSL has a built in firewall. They told me how to turn it off and now I can connect to all chat rooms but one. The YUKU chat still won't connect. Can't get any response from them about it.
