    accessing websites

the other user on my home PC can hardly access any websites. They keep coming up with McCafee blocked due to bad content. These are all very respectable sites, which I can get as the admin user. I have tried to alter the security settings, but these websites are still being blocked. What can I do? What I want is for my user user to be able to access sites same as me.

    Hello

It comes up McAfee privacy guard, says if this website has been barred by mistake, should contact administrator. I am admin, as it's my pc. One site was my old university, another was redoute.com shopping, another was linking voices, a mental health advice website (I am a carer). I can't see why I can get on e.g. Tripadvisor, El Cortes Ingles, all the harmless stuff I want, and the other user is barred at pretty well every turn. I bought the McAfee security on-line from AOL as I was concerned about viruses, not that I know much. You would have thought that by altering security to medium, the websites would be allowed.

I think McAfee privacy guard just clears up your tracks after you've visited sites.

    what firewall are you using?

    Hello

I would be using the firewall which was installed on the Vista Home Basic machine.
