    Windows Live 8.1

    Hi

    Having had to re-format my hard drive recently I have re-installed WLM 8.1. When I boot up I now get a folder openning called windows Live which is empty. I cannot seem to get rid of it - any ideas welcome please. I have run msconfig and cannot see anything in the Startup tab which is relevant to WLM but as they are mainly a few letter maybe I am missing something which does refer.

    Windows Live Messenger needs to be told inside the program not to start with windows.

    All versions of Windows messenger will start with windows unless otherwise told.

    In older versions there was also a "click-off" within Outlook Express as well.
