had loads of hassle with Sky Broadband. I can connect to the internet, but can't display web pages, without the help of sky operaters. Allso, i can only connect to the internet if i close my computer down, unplug the router, switch computer back on, wait 10mins, then i can normally make a connection.
It's been driving me nuts.
Can anyone help?

What do their "operators" suggest?
Your service satisfaction should be their priority and responsibility.

thank you for your reply. The operatives first blamed the problem on my computer, which i had checked out by professionals, everything was fine.
They asked me to key in these numbers into the search engine, 192.168.0.1.
Eventually i was able to access my emails and look at links that i wanted.
I object to going through this rigmarol every time i connect to the internet.
mbps is the speed of my internet connection.
I have wrote to head office twice since March which was when i took the package of, Surf Speak and See.
They gave me a free month back on the package because of all the problems.
And £5.00 refund because of the problems i've had getting connected and staying connected.
cheers

192.168.0.1 suggests you are using a router. Have you tried bypassing the router and connecting directly to the modem? Do you have other computers there that work fine?
Note that something as simple as a bad Ethernet/network cable can cause these type problems - try swapping out cables. Is this DSL or cable? If cable and there is a splitter in the line before connecting to the router, try connecting before the splitter for a test.
Also, malware can be a problem, check out Cleaning Out Malware.
I removed your email address for security reasons. Badguys are always on the lookout for valid addresses so they often troll forums for addresses to add to their spam lists. You should avoid posting your address in public places.
