When i try to connect to hamachi, msn and other things like that i get an error saying that it can not detect proxy settings. I was wondering if this was a virus issue or something els.
Also Msn fails to find key ports ned help with that two.
Someone please help.

Im not even sure what a proxy server is but i would be pretty sure that i am not.

This is a new problem, after i downloaded Windows Live Messenger every i started to have the errors.

Yes my setup did work fine untill i downloaded Windows Live Messenger

You might try a System Restore to a point prior to your problem:

start > All Programs > Accessories > System Tools > System Restore

Would that remove programs i have installed since?
