Loud as in it is running real fast or loud like it is not running correctly?

Many boards have heat sensors and the fan speed is linked to the heat sensed.

Have you ever opened this computer and cleaned out the dust etc.?

yeah a little bit. but the fan is really loud and annoying :P.
