I have a laptop and a desktop. I recently discovered TNT.tv has enabled on line viewing of The Closer - Season 3. I accessed from my laptop and after acquiring additional license authorization (some DRM thing) I was able to watch happily.

I wanted to set it up on my desktop, but it never asked for permission to go do the DRM thing. As a result, nothing plays.

As there is no help info on the TNT site, I am at a loss on how to enable the connection. Any suggestions are welcome.

On my computer the feed starts automatically. (No authorization etc.)

What happens on yours?

What browser are you using? It asked for authorization (Update for Windows Media Player) on firefox for me then I updated and it played fine after it downloaded the usage rights. Also make sure you have the plugin for WMP to work in your browser.

I'm using Firefox (although i tried IE as well with the same result). Jephree's comment is exactly what happened on my laptop. On the Desktop, I see progress messages about 'connecting to media' and 'ready', but no 'acquiring license' like the laptop gets before starting to play.

how do I check for the WMP browser plugin?

I have WMP 10 and firefox plug-ins for WMP9 and WMP 11. I like the WMP 10 layout better than that of WMP 11. Although I don't want to upgrade unless I have to, I'll go to 11 to see if that works. I can always restore to my current configuration.

Windows Media Player cannot play the file. One or more codecs required to play the file could not be found.

That is the message from the Error Details option when I right click the video space.

I am now at WMP 11 with Firefox plugin. I get the same string of progress messages finishing with "Ready", no "acquiring license" or request for authorization. The Play button looks ready to go, but doesn't make anything play.

A little more input... I've loaded the latest WMP updates. Using the link identified on the DramaVision site, I tried to load the URL in WMP. Message received is that I am missing a Codec.

Any idea how to find out what one I need? and where to get it?
