High speed optimization
Recently got high speed through Comcast (yuck) And i did the speedtest via utorrent, Around 4000kb down, 384 up. Problem is when downloading i usually get only 500kbps down and uploading maybe 150... Being new to this I have no idea on what I can do to speed this up (or even if i can).
Anybody have any tips to make my connection faster? Thanks!

You have no control over this. None of us do. 
ISP's offer different speeds at different rates but they also vary from time to time as do the servers you are downloading/uploading from/to.
The ISP's speed rate is also an estimate and variable as you will see in the fine print.
