hi just registered, not sure if i am in right section.
my pc problem is, i went to read my emails on my yahoo mail account and they had all disappeared.
i dont understand what has happened. i have done serveral back up and restore to try and fix the problem, but this has failed, and im not sure if my yahoo email address is working as i have not had any mail for a week now!!!!!

First off web based mail servers such as Yahoo do not store e-mail on your computer. It is totally on their servers that you log into. Hence backing-up or restoring your hard drive would have no bearing on this issue.

Have you tried sending your Yahoo account an e-mail from another source? Your personal ISP (Outlook Express) for example.
