Cannot connect to the site
The situation is as follows: I used to have two modems, one for the Internet and another for the telephone. Recently I changed my Internet connection for a better one and they removed the 1st modem, leaving the second one both for the telephone and the Internet. It's much easiler now, I don't have to switch on or off the modem and the speed is several times bigger. But there returned a problem that I used to have with the wireless internet and didn't have with 2 modems. I cannot connect to the site of Guardian www.guardian.co.uk I can see it for a brief moment and then the message "The Page cannot be displayed' appears. When I look at the properties/address, it says:
res://C:\WINDOWS\system32\shdoclc.dll/dnserror.htm#http://www.guardian.co.uk
The question is: can it be fixed somehow? I need this site very much!

Folks, it seems that I have the solution to my problem. Just received a good peace of advice. It turns out that I didn't have the 'use automatic configuration script' checked. Strangely enough, the Guardian site doesn't allow to connect without that option.

Thanks for the update and the solution!
Glad all is well.
