Can't save my homepage
Hi,
Everytime i put a homepage (any website) it doesn't get saved. I open the IE & i get the "about:blank" page???!!!

If this is the work computer, you are out of luck, they have full control. If this is your own computer and you go thru the procedures correclty, then it might be a virus. Check your procedures again, run virus check, if problem still there, you may want to post your hijackthis report.

ok it turned out it was the "homepage protection" from Norton, fixed it

I used to use Norton. I have heard a lot of bad things about it from lots of lots of different people. This year I started using AVS (Anti Virus Shield) and AVG (Anti Virus Gaurd) [on different computers of course]. Both of these of free. One thing that I noticed, they use a lot less resources. A full system check is a lot faster. On of my friend told me he had a virus, and as a result a very bad on-going problem for a while that his Norton could not find, but the free program he downlaoded foud it. He dumped Norton
