My computer - HP compaq presario 6000 - lost its drivers because a "good friend" formatted using killdisk and thereby deleted the recovery partition located on the harddisk. Normally you can buy a new recovery cd from HP but my computer is too old. can anyone help me? I just need driver for onboard sound and USB.

Sorry about posting in wrong thread, I wasn´t aware of it.
I find it difficult to find the right place to post.
My problem has been solved, not directly but by a hint from Compaq. The newest diver from Realtec AC97 did the trick.
