While i am connected to the internet, how can i determine my IP address and details about it.
Also is it possible to know someones IP adress too?

Depending on your OS, go to Start > Run > type in CMD or Command (based on your OS). At the DOS prompt, type in 'ipconfig /all' (without the quotes). This will give your your current settings. A way to find IP address, like online services, is to type ping 'url name'. This will come back with a ping test to the URL and show the IP.
