IE 7 starts OK and goes to my home page. However, when I open a New Tab, the tab shows Connecting... for few seconds then IE 7 closes.
I'm using XP SP2.

Is this a new problem? Did IE 7 ever work OK for you?

If it is new and IE 7 used to work try a System Restore to a point prior to the problem.

If IE 7 never worked properly I would suggest uninstalling and then reinstalling.
