I find this error message only in rapidshare.com which goes as:

"ERROR:Please enable javascript".

I have downloaded many files from rapidshare.de but never got this type of obstacle.

But when i try to download one from rapidshare.com, i get the above mentioned message.

I have also enabled all the three things in the Internet Properties under the "Security" tab namely:

1.Active Scripting: Enabled
2.Allow paste operations via script: Enabled
3.Scripting of Java Applets: Enabled

I have IE 6.0 and am using Win98 SE

Please help me out on this.

I solved the problem myself. After waiting for some time for the page to load, i was asked to download Adobe Active X 9 component or something very similar. I didnt give it a second look and clicked 'Yes'.

Now i only hope that its not harmful for my system.

I don't understand how Adobe Activex has anything to do with rapidshare...
although its not harmful.

The error indicated that JS was disabled. A firewall is whats possibly interfering it if its enabled.

Run ActiveX Controls... option also needs to be enabled.

This seems like a temporary glitch.
